Biography
Born in Montreal, my twenties took me to Boucherville and now to the beautiful town of Mont-Saint-Hilaire. As a young adult, my many visits to museums ignited my love for figurative painting. I completely identified with a maxim by W. Bouguereau who taught his students,« Paint what you see ".
Over the years, my relationship with painting has developed through self-teaching, enriched by workshops that have helped refine my style. A painter for 18 years, this art form inhabits and nourishes me.
Pictorial choices
- I love what animals bring me, a feeling of fullness and peace. Each painting has its own story; it's about two hearts courting and waltzing together for a moment.
I am passionate about wide open spaces; I love it when the gaze stretches far, when it fills my own. Nature is so beautiful, and I want to celebrate it in all its splendor.
