The fights begin with the unveiling of the mystery theme at 1:30 p.m. and the clock starts at 2:00 p.m. The artists have one hour to create an image (scene, landscape, etc.) according to the given theme!
Miss Rey's Art Battles was born on August 10, 2019 during the first year anniversary celebration of La Galerie de Miss Rey. Three brush fights were organized with 17 painters in total. We sold the paintings at a silent auction to raise funds for a non-profit organization, POSA-Source des Monts, which serves young adults in need in Chambly and its surroundings. Our recipes were for POSA's “POSART” program, a program that helps young people express themselves through art. We were proud to have donated 1,000$ through the sale of the paintings created.
In 2020, we worked for the organization of the cornucopia, in the context of the pandemic! We managed to raise significant sums of more than 900$ for the donation! For the year 2021, we worked for the benefit of At the Sources of the Chambly Basin, in order to support their social inclusion and food security programs. In 2022, we have chosen the Stephane Fallu House, an initiative of POSA (Portes Ouvertes Sur l'Avenir), which accommodates young adults (17-23 years old) coming out of youth centres.
THE HOUSE OF ARTS LE RENFORT, an initiative of the Le Renfort Foundation. The Maison des arts Le Renfort is located at 176 rue Longueuil in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

"The mission of the The Reinforcement Foundation is to improve the quality of life of children and adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
The House of Arts The Reinforcement will be an activity center with an artistic vocation in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, with the mission of promoting the development and updating of adults with intellectual disabilities (ID) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) . Services will be offered from Monday to Friday to anyone aged 21 and over with an ID-ASD diagnosis.
THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE MAISON DES ARTS ARE:
For the summer season of 2023, La Galerie de Miss Rey continues the community support activity with Miss Rey's Art Battles 2023. Three fights, fifteen artists, one NPO.
May 27, June 24 and August 26, 2023, we will paint to contribute to the purchase of equipment to meet the needs of music therapy and art therapy.
The names of the artists will be published one month before the first fight. Stay tuned!
