Miss Rey's Art Battles, Artistic Combats

For the summer season of 2022, there will be four artistic fights on the schedule.

May 28
June 25
July 30* (Our FIRST fight between families!)
August 27

We are kicking off the art battle season with our first battle on May 28, 2022! The fight will take place in the parking lot of the gallery. The artists will be called for 1:30 p.m. and the action will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Our competing artists: Marc Hebert (Granby), Claude Lepin (St-Sauveur), Manon Merchant (Farnham) and Danielle “Dan” Nadon (Chambly)!

It is you, dear audience, who decides the winner by secret ballot. Vote for your favourite!

During the first Art Battle, we will sell the paintings of the fight for the benefit of the organization At the Sources of the Chambly Basin, through a silent auction. You can bid on site (at La Galerie) or online via our AUCTIONS page on the La Galerie website. The paintings will be auctioned for a period of one week only and they will be exhibited at La Galerie during the auction period.

NB At the Sources of the Chambly Basin works in the food and material security of its beneficiaries.

Marta Barnes, represents Montreal and native Chamblyenne, she participates in her first artistic fight!
Hugues Messier, represents St-Jean-sur Richelieu. This is the 2nd fight for Hugues.
Danielle “Dan” Nadon, represents Chambly, she is on her 13th….a real veteran!
Marie Pelletier, from Longueuil, this is her 4th fight!

The 4th Miss Rey's Art Battles 2022

THE FINAL FIGHT

For the last fight of the 2022 season, Miss Rey invited 5 artists to paint for the cause! Four artists will be under the marquee and the fifth will be in her studio to the north, in the Laurentians!

The action starts at 1:30 p.m. on August 27 in the parking lot of La Galerie!
