I have always been interested in art, in all of its forms. I like to say that when I was young, I played with crayons and now, for the past 35 years, I have been scribbling on canvases.

As a landscape painter, sometimes I have fun painting characters or portraits, but in my own way. Whether it be through my landscapes or my portraits, I try to transmit emotions and feelings.

Michel Vincent started as a self-taught artist but decided to persue his training at the École supérieur de peinture from 1991 - 1992 . He continued his studies in visual arts at UQAM (University of Quebec at Montreal) from 1992- 1994. Afterwards, to complete his training, he painted for a year with a circle of artist friends.
