For the month ofoctober, THE BEAUTY OF ARTS until October 6, vacation from the 10th to the 28th, installation of the new collections for the exhibition THE COLORS OF AUTUMN. New exhibition with 3 artists in residence and 2 new guest artists for the months of November and December. Stay tuned!

Carmen Van Winden and her friend Chantal D'Andrade will paint for you under the big top on September 7!Â

Culture Days at La Galerie
Another madness of Miss Rey, this year we participate in the activities during the three days of Journées de la culture. This provincial initiative allows people access to culture free of charge for all, in order to celebrate Quebec art and culture.

There will be activities during the three days.Â
Our cultural activities
Several artists have responded yes to the invitation to share their art and culture with you! They have agreed to do an artistic demonstration under the marquee, (in the parking lot of La Galerie).
FRIDAY September 27: Isabelle Tellier and Sylvie Fournier
Isabella, a multi-disciplinary painter, will be doing an artistic demonstration. Some of his works will be on display and available for acquisition!
Sylvie, painter of works that are sometimes abstract, semi-figurative or figurative using different techniques and his intuition will also be present.Â
SATURDAY September 28: Michelle Dozois & The trio of artist-friends Sylvie, Nathalie and Kathleen
Michelle, artist and author-writer, offers two workshops during the afternoon: 1. Jewelry making and 2. Poetry composition.
Michelle Dozois will exhibit some of her poems and create jewelry, signed with her artist name, Mavra, which she can adjust to your measurements, on site, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
We are looking for established or aspiring authors to participate in our creative writing activity on Saturday, September 28 at 3 p.m. After visiting the gallery and selecting a painting that inspires them, participants will write texts in the styles of their choice and will be able to read them in front of the other participants.
The trio of artist friends:Â Under the marquee of La Galerie, in our parking lot, the three friends will show you their creative techniques. While laughing, for sure!Â

SUNDAY September 29: France Rondeau, painter
If the weather permits, France will be under the marquee in the parking lot. This artist who loves to paint in large format, in very large format, will be with us all afternoon! Artistic demonstration and exhibition of works in the open area.
