Born in Saskatchewan, Canada, Jeannine Michaud developed an admiration for the beauty in nature. She contemplated space and color through the vast plains and skies of the western prairies. Following her post-secondary studies, Michaud obtained her BA in dietetics from the University of Laval and worked at Iowa State University Hospitals. In the 1960's and 70's, she lived in The United States where she continued to explore various techniques until she found her true love: watercolor.
